What You’ll Do
As a Staff ML Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering production-grade GenAI systems. You’ll work across multiple product lines—starting with one—and own the design, fine-tuning, deployment, and continuous improvement of LLMs. Expect to build advanced RAG pipelines, implement RLHF techniques, and collaborate across product and engineering to define how generative AI impacts the financial services ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Fine-tune open-source and proprietary LLMs for tasks like summarization, reasoning, and planning
- Build advanced RAG pipelines using hybrid search, reranking, and knowledge graphs
- Design and implement agentic workflow systems for autonomous AI behavior
- Apply reinforcement learning (PPO, DPO, GRPO) to optimize model performance
- Deploy models into scalable, low-latency production environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive real-world product outcomes
What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in applied ML/AI engineering
- Proven record shipping LLM-powered applications
- Hands-on expertise with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, vLLM), agent frameworks, and advanced RAG
- Strong background in reinforcement learning
- Experience deploying and maintaining ML systems in production
- Comfortable working in lean, fast-paced, cross-functional teams
Tech Stack & Environment
This is a Python-first environment leveraging open-source and proprietary LLMs, RAG pipelines, and orchestration systems. You’ll work closely with product managers and backend engineers to integrate models into customer-facing systems.
