A stealth-stage startup in Silicon Valley is hiring a hands-on technical and product leader to help build the foundation for AI-native systems. Backed by leading venture capital firms and AI-focused angels, this is a rare opportunity to define technical strategy and lead execution from the very beginning.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and build the company’s core AI infrastructure
- Set the technical direction and own key product decisions
- Write and review code, guide system design, and lead engineering practices
- Hire and mentor the team, creating a high-performance culture
- Work closely with the founding team on company strategy and roadmap
What We’re Looking For
- Years in product and engineering leadership
- Prior experience as CTO or similar at a high-growth company
- Expert in system architecture, distributed systems, and ML/AI platforms
- Strong coding background; still comfortable getting into the weeds
- Based in SF Bay Area; must work onsite in Palo Alto
