Join a growing engineering team at a national professional services firm that’s investing heavily in AI to transform how accounting is done. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll build and deploy real-world ML solutions that replace outdated, manual processes across tax, audit, and advisory workflows.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with domain experts (accountants, business analysts) to understand complex, nuanced problems—and independently develop AI/ML strategies to solve them. This includes identifying useful data sources, designing and training models, evaluating performance, and translating insights into actionable tooling. The team is early-stage and focused on building from scratch—so you’ll have the freedom to shape infrastructure, strategy, and best practices.
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience solving business problems using ML—not just experimentation, but deployed solutions
- Deep comfort navigating ambiguous, messy datasets and driving 0-to-1 initiatives
- Experience with classification, traditional ML models, and/or recommendation systems
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG systems, or LLMs is a plus—but depth matters more than hype
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to collaborate directly with non-technical teams
- Bonus: experience with Azure stack (Data Factory, ML Studio, Cognitive Services, etc.)

- Tools: CI/CD, containerization (Docker), model monitoring
- Languages: Python preferred
