Join a fast-growing remote-first SaaS company using AI to modernize the audit and advisory industry. We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to take the lead in designing and building real-time, LLM-powered features that help auditors work faster, smarter, and more accurately. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll shape both the product experience and the AI systems that power it.
What You’ll Do
- Build AI copilots and real-time assistance features inside the core product
- Architect and scale retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
- Design secure, high-performing infrastructure for AI features
- Lead best practices in prompt engineering and LLM integrations
- Work closely with product, design, and domain experts to bring ideas to life
- Define metrics and build evaluation loops to monitor and improve outputs
Tech Stack & Environment
- Backend: Python, microservices, async systems
- Infra: AWS, containers, distributed queues
- AI/ML: LLM APIs, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt tooling
- Tooling: observability and deployment frameworks for production AI
- Culture: Remote-first, builder-driven, highly collaborative
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering, including backend systems
- At least 1 year building and deploying AI/ML-powered features
- Experience with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval-based systems
- Solid cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS or GCP)
- Strong product sense and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Bonus: prior work in audit, fintech, or other regulated domains
