Join a fast-scaling company transforming the US healthcare revenue cycle with AI. This Principal-level MLOps role is a cornerstone of the firm’s ML infrastructure strategy—architecting, deploying, and monitoring high-scale ML systems used to process billions of dollars in hospital claims annually.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable model deployment pipelines
- Partner with modelers and data engineers to build robust, production-ready ML systems
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring infrastructure
- Influence software engineering standards and mentor others on high-quality Python development
- Support evolving AI operations and cloud migration initiatives
Who You Are
- 10+ years of software/ML experience, with 5+ in MLOps or machine learning engineering
- Expert-level Python developer with strong coding and debugging skills
- Skilled in orchestration (e.g. Airflow), containerization (e.g. Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- Able to collaborate across teams and serve as the MLOps expert for a high-performing ML org
- Bonus: experience with cloud-agnostic architecture, healthcare data, or AI ops
Tech Stack & Environment
- Infra: Kubernetes, Airflow, DBT (platform owned by engineering)
- Languages: Python (core), with high expectations around software engineering standards
- MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, observability, governance
- Collaboration: Modelers and MLEs commit production code directly—no notebook handoffs
- Roadmap: Migration from Azure to AWS, expansion into AI Ops
