We are working with an early-stage, well-funded trading firm building next-generation AI systems for financial research. The team is focused on developing autonomous agent workflows that can explore, test, and refine trading strategies across global markets.
This is a unique opportunity for a junior engineer to join a highly technical, fast-moving environment where the focus is on building with the latest AI tools rather than following traditional engineering playbooks.
The Role
You will support the development of agent-driven research systems used to analyze and act on market data. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will build and iterate on tools, modules, and experiments that contribute to a broader AI-powered platform.
The work is hands-on and varied. You may be building small components one day and experimenting with new AI workflows the next. The common thread is speed, adaptability, and a strong focus on output.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and iterate on AI-powered tools and research workflows
- Support development of agent-based systems using LLMs
- Work across multiple small projects in parallel
- Leverage modern AI coding tools to increase development speed
- Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers on new ideas
Tech Stack & Environment
- LLM platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic
- Agent-based development workflows
- Python and data tooling where needed
- Cloud-based development environments
- Rapid experimentation with new tools and frameworks
What We Are Looking For
- Early-career engineer or self-taught builder with strong project experience
- Evidence of high output such as multiple recent projects or active Git history
- Experience using AI tools or LLMs in practical projects
- Fast learner who can quickly adapt to new tools and workflows
- High agency and curiosity with a strong desire to build
