Overview
We are supporting a global enterprise software company building a centralized AI Enablement function that will act as the “hub” powering AI adoption across multiple product lines. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on shipping production-grade AI capabilities that can be reused across business units and embedded into customer-facing products over time.
What you’ll do
- Build and ship agentic AI capabilities that work across multiple systems and data sources
- Design and implement RAG solutions over code and documentation, with a focus on reliability and usability in brownfield environments
- Help develop internal AI frameworks and patterns that product engineering teams can adopt
- Partner with engineering teams across business units to drive adoption, enablement, and consistent standards
- Contribute to governance, security, scalability, and production readiness of AI features and internal tools
- Stay current on the GenAI ecosystem and bring pragmatic recommendations on tools, patterns, and tradeoffs
Tech stack and environment
- Python-first development
- RAG and vector search (OpenSearch used as a vector store)
- Agent frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph (building internal multi-agent framework)
- Tooling ecosystem includes GitHub Copilot, Atlassian stack, Office 365
- Cloud hosting in AWS (for internal AI services)
What we’re looking for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with real production “battle scars” (reliability, scalability, security)
- Experience building and shipping GenAI features into production (not just side projects or POCs)
- Solid Python experience
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases/search, and modern agentic workflows is strongly preferred
- Comfortable influencing and working with a wide internal audience, not a heads-down-only role
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Carlsbad, CA
- Must have US permanent residency or citizenship (required)
