We’re partnering with an early-stage AI startup building modern infrastructure for institutional investing and corporate governance workflows.
The company is creating an AI-native platform that helps investment firms analyze regulatory filings and generate transparent, customizable voting recommendations at scale. The product sits at the intersection of AI, workflow automation, and financial infrastructure, replacing highly manual processes with modern software and intelligent systems.
This is the company’s first engineering hire and an opportunity to help build the product, architecture, and engineering culture from the ground up alongside an experienced founding team.
The Role
You’ll work directly with the founders to take existing product designs and turn them into a production-ready platform. This is a highly hands-on role suited to engineers who enjoy ambiguity, ownership, and building systems from scratch.
Responsibilities include:
Building core frontend and backend platform functionality
Turning product concepts and Figma designs into scalable applications
Developing APIs and data ingestion workflows
Building systems that process and structure large regulatory datasets
Contributing to architecture and infrastructure decisions from day one
Helping shape engineering standards, tooling, and workflows
Collaborating closely with founders on product direction and execution

What They’re Looking For
4+ years of software engineering experience
Strong TypeScript and full stack development experience
Experience building products or systems from scratch
Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments
Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements
Strong communication and product thinking
Nice to have:
Experience with LLMs or GenAI products
AWS or cloud infrastructure experience
Background in regulated industries or data-heavy environments
Startup or founding engineer experience
