A global AI-powered platform in the travel space is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to own its demand forecasting and anomaly detection strategy. This is a rare opportunity to build Bayesian forecasting systems at massive scale—supporting thousands of personalized models tailored to real-world customer behavior.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement hierarchical Bayesian forecasting models
- Develop uncertainty-aware frameworks to support real-time decision-making
- Work with engineering to deploy, monitor, and improve models in production
- Lead scientific direction for forecasting and anomaly detection initiatives
What You Bring
- 10+ years in data science; deep Bayesian modeling and time series experience
- Practical knowledge of probabilistic programming (e.g., PyMC3, Stan)
- Background in demand forecasting, segmentation, and model interpretability
- Strong communication skills; comfortable leading strategy and execution
