Their mission: to create a general-purpose intelligence system capable of conducting systematic investment research. Backed by deep technical and financial resources, they're applying cutting-edge AI, ML, and optimization techniques to one of the most complex domains in the world—global financial markets.
The Role
As a Research Scientist, you’ll work at the intersection of AI/ML and systematic investing. Your research will directly influence how financial signals are identified and leveraged. You’ll collaborate with top-tier researchers and engineers to develop predictive models, uncover new patterns in high-dimensional market data, and continuously push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in this space.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement novel ML and statistical models to support investment decisions
- Develop advanced predictive systems and explanatory models for financial forecasting
- Conduct original, high-impact research and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Evaluate and integrate emerging methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities
What You’ll Bring
- Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (CS, Statistics, Math, Physics, etc.)
- 3–5 years of experience in applied research, ideally with published work
- Advanced programming and data science skills; comfortable with real-world, messy datasets
- End-to-end experience with data pipelines, model development, and interpretability
- Ability to independently solve open-ended problems and learn across domains
- Clear communicator, capable of explaining complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
