A leading SaaS platform in travel tech is hiring a Lead Data Scientist to design and deploy RL-based pricing systems across thousands of customer environments. This is a true hands-on, production-facing modeling role where you’ll lead model architecture, experimentation, and optimization strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deploy reinforcement learning models for dynamic pricing
- Integrate demand forecasting and price elasticity into pricing policy optimization
- Collaborate with engineers to productionize models (SageMaker, simulation environments)
- Define evaluation metrics, experimentation design, and business impact measurement
What You Bring
- 7+ years in ML or data science with RL or control systems in production
- Experience with policy learning, simulation environments, causal inference
- Python fluency and ML stack familiarity (PyTorch, scikit-learn, DARTS, etc.)
- Prior pricing or revenue optimization experience a plus, not required
