The Opportunity
This is a chance to join as Product Manager, Forecasting, owning one of the most important initiatives in the product suite: the development of a modern forecasting service that drives billions in business decisions.
The role involves:
- Leading the decoupling of a legacy forecasting engine into a standalone service.
- Partnering with world-class engineers and data scientists to deliver next-generation forecasting models.
- Shaping the roadmap for accuracy, adaptability, and explainability in forecasting.
- Playing a central role in a program that has been prioritized by company leadership as the #1 focus area.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the product roadmap for forecasting services.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams on system architecture and model evolution.
- Provide direction and influence when working with senior engineers.
- Balance technical decision-making with customer value and usability.
- Support discovery, experimentation, and rollout of multiple AI/ML-driven forecasting approaches.
Candidate Profile
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally in data-heavy or ML-driven products.
- Strong technical fluency — able to understand system architecture, ML concepts, and engineering workflows.
- Confidence to influence senior engineering partners and drive delivery.
- Experience with zero-to-one product builds in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity and genuine interest in forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with forecasting, time-series modeling, or related domains.
- Background in SaaS, travel, finance, or commerce.
- Experience working with AI/ML product development.
