A fast-growing AI company in the national security space is hiring an AI Engineer to build and scale agent workflows that automate real customer operations.
You’ll join a small, high-ownership team building a production AI agent that goes beyond chat — using tools, executing workflows, and delivering outcomes inside a customer-facing platform.
What you’ll do
- Build agent workflows that automate real user processes
- Implement tool-using behaviors and orchestration logic
- Ship production features (not prototypes)
- Work closely with an onsite engineering team to deliver quickly
What they’re looking for
- Strong engineering fundamentals and real production experience
- Comfort working with modern LLM tooling (agent frameworks a plus)
- Ownership mindset and ability to operate in ambiguity

- Must hold or be willing to obtain security clearance
- 100% onsite in Pittsburgh, PA
