Lead Data Scientist, Pricing (Reinforcement Learning Focus)
Compensation: $200K – $250K base + equity
Location: Remote (USA only)
Our client is pioneering dynamic pricing solutions for the travel industry, and they’re hiring a Lead DS with expertise in real-world Reinforcement Learning to take their pricing systems to the next level.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deploy RL-based models to optimize revenue decisions in production
- Lead experimentation to evaluate RL strategies against real-time constraints
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate models into live systems
- Mentor junior scientists and influence strategic ML directions
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience with reinforcement learning in applied settings
- Background in pricing, control systems, or decision optimization
- Proficiency in Python and ML/RL libraries (e.g., Ray RLlib, Gym, PyTorch)
- Experience leading DS initiatives end-to-end
