This is a Staff-level Machine Learning Engineer role focused on full-lifecycle model development to improve how claims are prioritized, matched, and processed. You’ll join a lean, highly technical team working directly on revenue-critical workflows and partner cross-functionally with analysts and business teams who are actively using your models.
What You’ll Do
- Design, train, deploy, and iterate ML models that rank claims and identify recovery opportunities.
- Apply deep statistical thinking, including causal inference and experimental design, to improve model performance.
- Analyze messy, high-dimensional healthcare data and surface insights that inform ops decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to move models into production.
- Evaluate impact metrics and continuously refine performance based on business outcomes.
What You Bring
- 8–12+ years of experience building and improving ML models in production.
- ???????Strong fluency in Python and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
- Proven ability to wrangle complex datasets and uncover meaningful patterns.
- Background in causal inference, experimentation, or applied statistics is strongly preferred.
- Experience with MLOps, Spark, or cloud ML environments (AWS, GCP) is a bonus.
