Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer, Ad Platform
Compensation: $250K + equity

The Role:
They’re hiring a hands-on Tech Lead / Senior Engineer to own the architecture and development of their real-time advertising platform. This is a critical infrastructure role where you’ll drive performance at scale across ad decisioning, bidding, and delivery—partnering directly with product and ML teams to shape the future of their ad tech stack.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement the core real-time ad platform architecture
- Lead technical direction and mentor engineers while staying deep in the code
- Build and optimize low-latency systems for bidding, auctions, and delivery
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and service orchestration layers
- Ensure production excellence via CI/CD, observability, and alerting best practices
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years building distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems (ads, auctions, recommendations, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in compiled languages like Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java
- Architectural leadership across clean interfaces and modular services
- Operational maturity: solid on-call hygiene, rollback procedures, and system reliability
- Pragmatic mindset with startup agility and ownership mentality
