AI Platform Engineer
Compensation: $160,000–$185,000 base + 15% bonus

Our client is a global professional services organization undergoing a significant AI transformation. They're building a new enterprise AI capability to improve how knowledge is accessed, workflows are automated, and business operations are enhanced through large language models and intelligent automation.
They're looking for an AI Platform Engineer to help build the technical foundation that will enable AI across the business.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a newly formed AI function. You'll work across platform engineering, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and applied AI to design and deploy production-grade AI systems that can be leveraged throughout the organization.
Rather than focusing on model training or AI research, you'll build the infrastructure, orchestration, and integrations that allow enterprise AI applications to scale securely and reliably.
You'll have significant ownership from day one, partnering with senior technology leadership to influence architecture, platform decisions, and the long-term direction of AI within the business.
What You'll Do
Design and build an enterprise AI platform from the ground up.
Architect scalable AI infrastructure, data pipelines, and orchestration workflows.
Deploy production LLM applications using modern enterprise AI technologies.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing business systems and workflows.
Build reusable AI services that support multiple internal teams and business functions.
Develop solutions including knowledge assistants, document intelligence, enterprise search, and workflow automation.
Establish best practices around AI security, governance, and responsible AI.
Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
What You'll Bring
Experience building and deploying production AI applications.
Strong Azure and cloud infrastructure experience.
Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise environments.
Background building data pipelines, backend systems, and enterprise integrations.
Experience with orchestration frameworks, AI agents, or workflow automation.
Strong software engineering and systems architecture fundamentals.
Ability to operate across engineering, infrastructure, and technical strategy.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI.
Graph database or knowledge graph experience.
Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
Familiarity with responsible AI, security, and governance frameworks.
