Our client seeks a talented Senior Data Scientist to join their team and leverage machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering expertise to enhance productivity and efficiency. As a Senior Data Scientist, you can work on exciting projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build practical solutions.
You will work for a PE-backed software firm focusing on insurance/claims in the healthcare space. They are rapidly growing and revolutionizing this space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to drive business impact (recommendation models).
- Analyze and explore data to identify actionable opportunities
- Implement MLOps best practices to streamline model development and deployment
- Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and subject matter experts to design and build solutions
- Continuously measure and improve the impact of AI-enabled workflows on key business metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience working in a similar role, with a focus on machine learning or data science
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment
- Proficiency in Python and Scala, with experience using sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Robust data analysis and visualization skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Spark and operating ML pipelines in a cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Master's degree or Ph.D.
- Applied experience with contemporary NLP tasks, techniques, and tools
Remote Work Requirements:
