This client is dedicated to leveraging data to drive impactful solutions across the healthcare industry, and they are looking for a skilled engineer with a strong background in Azure, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow to join their team.
About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in building and optimizing data infrastructure that supports the delivery of critical healthcare insights. Working within a close-knit engineering team, you’ll design, implement, and manage data pipelines and workflows, enabling scalable and efficient data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow to orchestrate workflows and ensure smooth, automated data processes.
- Data Transformation & Modeling: Utilize dbt (data build tool) to transform raw data into actionable insights, creating robust models and enhancing data quality.
- Data Management & Storage: Work with Snowflake for efficient data warehousing and handle large data volumes in a highly optimized and secure environment.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Develop data solutions within Azure, leveraging cloud capabilities to streamline data processing, storage, and accessibility.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 3+ years in data engineering, with proven experience in Azure, dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow.
- Technical Expertise: Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting, with deep understanding of best practices in data pipeline design.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effective at working with cross-functional teams, understanding data needs, and translating them into practical solutions.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Skilled at troubleshooting complex data issues and optimizing workflows for efficiency and scalability.
